The platform covers the A1.1, A1.2, A2.1 and A2.2 levels with materials for about 30 hours of studying at each level. That is, 120 hours of studying in total.

Serbonika’s Course Creator
As a professional Serbian teacher, I’ve learned about 15 foreign languages to a different extent. I’m native Serbian (trained to speak Croatian too), fluent in English, Greek, Italian and Spanish, intermediate in French, German and Russian. I also co-created the Serbian course for one of the most famous language-learning applications. You might recognize my voice from there.
While I don’t know everything about linguistics, I definitely know A LOT about learning languages and – especially, about learning and teaching Serbian as a foreign language.

- Self-Study Programs include learning on your own using the textual, video, audio and interactive materials and courses at the Serbonika platform.
- Self-Study Programs do NOT include live lessons with teachers, except for your right to attend a free class (an Open Class, an Interview, or a Trial Lesson) in order to join our live lessons with teachers, at an extra cost.
- An Open Class is a group class for complete beginners looking to join a beginners group. A Trial Lesson means joining a group that we suppose is suitable for your level. An Interview is a meeting with a teacher 1-on-1 to assess your level and find a suitable group.
- A self-study student that is a total beginner in Serbian can take an Open Class so they can try our live lessons and decide to join a group.
- A self-study student that has already learned some Serbian can have a free trial lesson or an interview so we can determine their level precisely in order to find a suitable group for them.
