These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Serbonika’s website, platform, courses and lessons packages.

By creating an account, paying for a membership, entering a group or booking a lesson, we assume that you accept these terms and conditions.

Do not continue to use Serbonika if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements:

  • “Client”, “Student” “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions.
  • “The School”, “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company.
  • “Teacher” is a professional employed by the School, whether a School’s employee or a contractor.
  • “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Serbia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

1) Private Lessons

How to best use your lessons with a teacher at Serbonika

 

Private lessons include packages of lessons for individuals or families. All lessons are 60 minutes long.

 

Trial lesson

When the Client books a trial session, we assume that they agree with the following:

  1. The first meeting is a trial lesson and is free of charge.
  2. It can last from 30 to 60 minutes.
  3. The student is under no obligation to take any more lessons after the trial lesson.
  4. The student can only have 1 trial lesson.

 

Payment and fees
  1. Payment for lessons packages is safe and secure via PayPal, by a debit or credit card through Raiffeisen Bank Gateway, or bank transfer.
  2. Payment is due after the first or trial lesson for the desired lesson package or course.
  3. Some lessons are paid for in advance, but the Client will never lose their money by timely changing the class day or time, at least 24 hours before the lesson is due.
  4. The times and dates of the classes will be confirmed before the payment is made.
  5. All transactions are final and there are no refunds.
  6. The School is not responsible for any additional bank fees, interest charges, finance charges or other fees.
  7. The School reserves the right to change fees, but will notify you in advance of such changes.

 

Packages and Validity Period
  1. Lessons are sold in 5 or 10 lessons packages.
  2. All 5-lesson packages must be used in 45 days, starting the day of the first lesson.
  3. All 10-lesson packages must be used in 60 days, starting the day of the first lesson.
  4. After that period, the packages expire and there will be no refund.
  5. The School is no longer responsible for delivering expired lessons and the Client gives up the claim to such lessons.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email.

  1. In the event that the Client needs to cancel or reschedule the lesson, they shall do so by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  2. Otherwise, the Client loses the right to reschedule that lesson.
  3. If cancelled or changed within 24 hours before the start of the class, full fee will be charged for the class.
  4. In case the Client doesn’t show up for the class, full fee will be charged.
  5. In case the Client is late for the class, the lesson will be ended at the designated time, so that the Teacher can move on to the next class without disruption of their schedule.
  • Teacher Cancellation Policy
  1. For whatever reason the teacher is suddenly unable to show up for the lesson, the School will provide a Substitute Teacher.
  2. In case of the Teacher’s planned absence, for holidays or sick leave, the Client will be presented with the choice to postpone the lesson or have the lesson with a Substitute Teacher.
  • Keeping the time slot
  1. As long as the Client keeps showing up for the lessons and cancelling 24 hours in advance, the Client keeps the time slots reserved.
  2. Cancellations are allowed twice per month.
  3. If the Client breaks any of the regulations above, the School keeps the right to give their time slot to another Client.

2) Group Courses

How to best use your group course with a teacher at Serbonika

 

Group courses include:

  • A package of 8 group lessons and a 1-month membership,
  • A package of 24 group lessons and a 3-month membership.

All lessons are 60 minutes long.

 

Trial lesson

When the Client books a trial session, we assume that they agree with the following:

  1. The first meeting is a trial lesson and is free of charge.

  5. The School is no longer responsible for delivering expired lessons and the Client gives up the claim to such lessons.

 

Group Size
  1. A group is a class of maximum 6 and minimum 3 students.
  2. At least 3 students are required to form a mini-group.
  3. There will usually be 4 students in a mini-group, but the School reserves the right to add a 5th student if necessary.
  4. In special occasions, there are 6 students in a group, as requested by a Client.
  5. When there are 2 students in a group, they form a Tandem.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email.

  1. In the event that the Client can not attend the lesson, they shell inform the Teacher by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  2. In case there is 1 or 2 students attending the lesson, the lesson will be held and recorded, so the absent students can easily make up.
  3. In case there is only one student attending the lesson, the lesson will be postponed until the next designated time slot.
  • Teacher Cancellation Policy
  1. For whatever reason the teacher is suddenly unable to show up for the lesson, the School will provide a Substitute Teacher.
