Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the questions you might want to ask. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please send us a message.
What's a free course and how does it work?
How often do you release new content?
We’re constantly working on new content. We publish something new as soon as it’s completed. For frequent updates, follow Serbonika on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. As a dedicated premium member, you can also suggest the content you’d like to see in the courses. Serbonika grows with you!
Can I cancel if I decide to stop or take a break?
Do you offer live lessons at Serbonika?
We do and we actually recommend taking part in our mini-group lessons together with using the platform for the best results. You will meet friends, learn secrets of the Serbian language, practice listening and speaking, and have fun! Group lessons are available also for intermediate and advanced levels.
What age groups do you support?
What if I get stuck on a lesson?
We all sometimes encounter a step that is hard for us to make. If you face a problem, you can always send us an email and ask additional help. You can also post in our Facebook group and get immediate support from other members: learners, natives and teachers. We love to help each other learn and improve.
How long it takes to learn Serbian?
Learning a completely new language is a big task. If you have no previous experience with Slavic languages, it will probably take you about 50 hours of studying to start feeling comfortable with the language, as you complete the A1 level. But if you speak a Slavic language, it will be much faster.
How long are your Serbian lessons?
All our lessons, individual or in a group, last for about an hour. That said, homework is reviewed out of the class and students are encouraged to work with the learning platform outside the class as much as possible, so most of the class time is actually used for speaking Serbian.
The prices of lessons and memberships?
The prices depend on your preferred arrangement: whether you study on your own, or with a teacher. If you’re learning with a teacher, it depends on if you take individual lessons, or learn in a pair (tandem), or in a mini group. Contact us to explore our options and get detailed info on the pricing.
