These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Serbonika’s website, platform, courses and lessons packages.

By creating an account, paying for a membership, entering a group or booking a lesson, we assume that you accept these terms and conditions.

Do not continue to use Serbonika if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements:

  • “Client”, “Student” “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions.
  • “The School”, “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company.
  • “Teacher” is a professional employed by the School, whether a School’s employee or a contractor.
  • “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Serbia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

1) Using the Serbonika’s Platform

Welcome to the Serbonika’s e-learning platform! By accessing or using our website and digital courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Serbonika’s website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific services or content. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  1. Eligibility

To use Serbonika’s services, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. By using our site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

  1. User Accounts
  • Registration: You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and update it as necessary.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  1. Use of Digital Courses
  • Access: Upon payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the digital courses solely for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Content: The courses include various forms of content, such as videos, text, quizzes, and other materials (collectively, “Content”). The Content is for educational purposes and should not be shared, redistributed, or copied without our explicit permission.
  • Prohibited Actions: You agree not to:
    • Use the Content for any commercial purpose.
    • Share your login information with others.
    • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems.
    • Use our services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our website.
  1. Intellectual Property

All Content on Serbonika, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and course materials, is the property of Serbonika or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of the Content is strictly prohibited.

  1. Payments and Refunds
  • Pricing: Prices for courses are listed on our website and are subject to change. The price at the time of purchase is final.
  • Refund Policy: Refund requests must be made within 20 days of purchase and are subject to our approval. We reserve the right to deny refunds if the course has been substantially accessed or completed.
  1. User Conduct

You agree to use our services in a manner that is respectful and lawful. You must not:

  • Post or share offensive, abusive, or defamatory content.
  • Engage in activities that could harm our website or other users.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  1. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

  1. Disclaimers

Serbonika provides digital courses “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

In no event shall Serbonika be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to our interests or other users.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Serbia.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new terms.

2) Group Courses

How to best use your group course with a teacher at Serbonika

 

Group courses include:

  • A package of 8 group lessons and a 1-month membership,
  • A package of 32 group lessons and a 4-month membership.

 

Lesson duration

All group lessons at Serbonika are 60 minutes long. We do NOT imply that one lesson is 45 minutes long only to charge double fee for 90-minutes sessions.

At Serbonika, we value your time and energy, and you get all the necessary instruction and practice in 60 minutes, followed by infinite hours of studying on our platform, at your wish.

 

Trial lesson

When the Client books a trial session, we assume that they agree with the following:

  1. The first meeting is a trial lesson and is free of charge.
  2. It can last from 30 to 60 minutes.
  3. The student is under no obligation to take any more lessons after the trial lesson.
  4. The student can only have 1 trial lesson.

 

Payment and fees
  1. Payment for courses is safe and secure via PayPal, by a debit or credit card through Raiffeisen Bank Gateway, or bank transfer.
  2. Payment is due after the first or trial lesson for the desired course.
  3. Some lessons are paid for in advance.
  4. The times and dates of the classes will be confirmed before the payment is made.
  5. All transactions are final and there are no refunds.
  6. The School is not responsible for any additional bank fees, interest charges, finance charges or other fees.
  7. The School reserves the right to change fees, but will notify you in advance of such changes.

 

Packages and Validity Period
  1. Courses are sold in 8-lesson or 32-lesson packages.
  2. All 8-lesson packages must be used in 45 days, starting the day of the first lesson.
  3. All 32-lesson packages must be used in 99 days, starting the day of the first lesson.
  4. After that period, the lessons expire and there will be no refund.
  5. The School is no longer responsible for delivering expired lessons and the Client gives up the claim to such lessons.

 

Group Size
  1. A group is a class of maximum 6 and minimum 2 students.
  2. At least 3 students are required to form a mini-group.
  3. There will usually be 4 students in a mini-group, but the School reserves the right to add a 5th student if necessary.
  4. In special occasions, there are 6 students in a group, as requested by a Client.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email.

  1. In the event that the Client can not attend the lesson, they shell inform the Teacher by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  2. In case there is 1 or 2 students attending the lesson, the lesson will be held and recorded, so the absent students can easily make up.
  3. In case there is only one student attending the lesson, the lesson will be postponed until the next designated time slot.

 

Teacher Cancellation Policy

  1. For whatever reason the teacher is suddenly unable to show up for the lesson, the School will provide a Substitute Teacher.
  2. In case of the Teacher’s planned absence, for holidays or sick leave, the Clients will be presented with the choice to postpone the lessons or have the lessons with a Substitute Teacher.

 

Keeping the place in your group

  1. As long as the Client keeps showing up for the lessons and respects the Cancellation policy, the Client keeps their place in group reserved.
  2. Cancellations are allowed twice per month.
  3. If the Client breaks any of the regulations above, the School keeps the right to give their place to another Client.

3) Private Lessons

How to best use your lessons with a teacher at Serbonika

Private lessons include packages of lessons for individuals. All lessons are 60 minutes long.

 

Trial lesson

When the Client books a trial session, we assume that they agree with the following:

  1. The first meeting is an interview or a trial lesson and is free of charge.
  2. It can last from 30 to 60 minutes.
  3. The student is under no obligation to take any more lessons after the trial lesson.
  4. The student can only have 1 trial lesson.

 

Lesson duration

All private lessons at Serbonika are 60 minutes long. We do NOT imply that one lesson is 45 minutes long only to charge double fee for 90-minutes sessions.

At Serbonika, we value your time and energy, and you get all the necessary instruction and practice in 60 minutes, followed by infinite hours of studying on our platform, at your wish.

 

Packages and Validity Period
  1. Lessons are sold in 5- or 10-lesson packages.
  2. FIX RATE means that the classes are booked at fixed days and times. Classes can not be postponed or rescheduled. If a class is missed by the Student for whatsoever reason, it is considered done and charged for. Sold in FIX 10-lesson packages and minimum 2 lessons per week.
  3. FLEXI RATE means that the Student can reschedule an in-time canceled lesson, no more than 2 times per month for a 2-per-week course, and no more than 1 per month for a 1-per-week course. Such lessons will not be charged for. The client can take a break for personal reasons up to 3 times per year. In such a case, the FLEXI package can be frozen for up to 30 days. Sold in FLEXI 5-lesson packages for 1-per-week courses, and FLEXI 10-lesson packages for 2-per-week courses.
  4. All FLEXI RATE 5- and 10-lesson packages must be used in 45 days, starting the day of the first lesson, except when frozen.
    All FIX RATE 10-lesson packages must be used in 35 days, starting the day of the first lesson.
  5. After that period, the packages expire and there will be no refunds.
  6. The School is no longer responsible for delivering expired lessons and the Client gives up the claim to such lessons.

 

Payment and fees

  3. Lessons are paid for in advance, but the Client will never lose their money by timely changing the class day or time, at least 24 hours before the lesson is due.
  4. The times and dates of the classes will be confirmed before the payment is made.
  5. All transactions are final and there are no refunds.
  6. The School is not responsible for any additional bank fees, interest charges, finance charges or other fees.
  7. The School reserves the right to change fees, but will notify you in advance of such changes.
 
Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and change policy is 24 hours in advance by email.

  1. In the event that the Client needs to cancel or reschedule the lesson, they shall do so by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  2. Otherwise, the Client loses the right to reschedule that lesson.
  3. If cancelled or changed within 24 hours before the start of the class, full fee will be charged for the class.
  4. In case the Client doesn’t show up for the class, full fee will be charged.
  5. In case the Client is late for the class, the lesson will be ended at the designated time, so that the Teacher can move on to the next class without disruption of their schedule.

Teacher Cancellation Policy

  1. For whatever reason the teacher is unable to show up for the lesson, the School will provide a Substitute Teacher if possible.
  2. In case of the Teacher’s planned absence, for holidays or sick leave, the Client will be presented with the choice to postpone the lesson or have the lesson with a Substitute Teacher.
